Situation: Kirsty is a 14yr old who is getting abused at home, her father is always hitting her and she feels she can’t talk to her mum about it, what could she do?

Soultion: As a citizen you have the right to be treated fairly. Your own happiness is important. If you feel that you are being abused mentally or physically you have the right to be heard. Kirsty could talk to somebody who she likes, a family member, a teacher or a good friend. She could call ARC (01925 244281) or  Childline. (0800 1111).
